Jacob comes from a pretty wealthy background, the Torino family. His father runs a million dollar company, so living for Jacob would be easy. Although people may think he is a snobby rich kid, Jacob is very different. The Torino family has a history of connections with the supernatural, his grandfather who Jacob is named just went missing one night with a flash of light. No one has been able to figure out why, and some speculate his father Lacorious is somewhat involved. But no one is able to get in real close contact with him, not even his family sometimes. Jacob mostly spent his childhood with his older sisters, his mother, and his twin brother Grana. A big family filled with love and of course there own issues.
Jacob and Grana were extremely close for brother’s even twins. With their play rough and random nature they caused a lot of mischief. They used each other to deal with the father’s lack parenting. Their mother Rebecca usually decided not to talk about their father. And Their sister’s Nora the oldest and Sarah second oldest never really had much to say about him. They only remember seeing him around a couple of times but that was it.
At a real young age Jacob and Grana had a thing of extreme sports they did just about everything they could for their age group. The started to become well known being called The Twins. Their father never came to see one of their Games, claiming to be too busy with work and other things. But he paid for most of their expenses and ski resorts. In fact because of their father is the reason why they made it so far, so he was around sometimes. Just not there like an actual father should be.

Preparing to play a trick on their older sisters Jacob and Grana were in the woods with white party masks on and water balloons filled with red dye to make it look like blood. Grana turned his head and saw a image of his father. He knew what he saw; he followed him deeper into the woods. Without speaking a word, Jacob starting to become worried followed him. Grana started to run calling out his grandfather’s name. No reply. Grana ran faster but the image seemed to always move faster as he did. Until Grana came to a large open space in the woods, he saw a man as tall as his father in a weird looking suit, with an all-black mask. Grana was speechless for a moment and they made eye contact. Suddenly Grana dropped to his knees and his breathing got heavier, like he was chocking under some weird pressure. Jacob finally caught up but the man in the mask was gone. Grana was passed out on the ground. Jacob worried for his brother picked him, and carried him back to the house. Tears ran down Jacob’s face with the thoughts that his brother could be dead. He did care if his legs broke under pressure he had to get him back to the house. All of their lives they were close shared rooms for no reason, even though they had separate ones. They played pranks, entered competitions, and used each other to make themselves better. They were rivals, best friends and brothers. Jacob could not lose him.

He reached the house and banged on the door loudly, his mother opened horrified at what she saw. Like a mother should be for her children. Rebecca was usually a bit overprotective of her boys, yea they entered extreme sports which can be very life threatening but that took a lot of convincing. Grana was placed on the couch and about an hour later he awoke. Rebecca over him to wipe the sweat from his forehead. His sisters Nora and Sara were standing right next to him with a release of tension. But Jacob was farthest away by the fireplace with fear in his eyes.
After a couple of minutes when Grana was well rested the only thing he was able to say was “I saw dad.” Grana had gotten really sick it was strange but he had high fever and his body became weak. His mother Rebecca hired the best doctors in the country to see what was wrong but no one could figure it out. But one of told Rebecca that Grana only had a couple of months left to live. It was heartbreaking to hear that about her own son. But something that troubled her deeply was telling Jacob.
Jacob has stayed close to Grana over the past couple of months, he skipped competitions, games, interviews many other things for the sake of his brother. Grana was unable to get out of bed and Jacob sat by his side day and night. Of course on certain days when Grana was feeling a little better they would play some games, but usually that tired Grana out and hurt his body. But Jacob stayed by him no matter what. It was hard to watch sometimes but that was the bond they had. Jacob knew Grana would do the same for him. Rebecca tried calling and getting in contact with their father but no answer no call backs nothing. She was furious but she had other things on her mind like her son. Nora the oldest decided to spend more time with Jacob, she already knew the news and accepted it. But she didn’t know how to tell him. But she knew Jacob would need someone close when it happens so this was now the time. After a couple of days Nora told Jacob the news, Grana only had two months left to live. Surprisingly Jacob didn’t cry he didn’t even look surprised, like he knew somehow all-along. “I know…I’m not dumb Nora…but it’s still hard.” Nora smiled and hugged him lightly with tears falling down her face. Then Jacob finally let some tears fall but he felt ok, with his family there for him.

Five years later in present time Jacob now seventeen. Two time X Games snowboarding champion for racing, big air and slope style. Although a champion Jacob still gets homeschooled because of his mom. He also has many awards from the competitions and races he entered and won. But recently Jacob noticed some strange things happening to him. Before a bog race the wind always seem to blow in his direction and actually can some-how feel it pushing him. But beyond that now Jacob can see spirits and ghosts, at first it freaked him out but after a month he got used to it. He decided not to say anything because no one would believe him. But instead of ignoring these ghosts he actually helps them when he can, a bit odd and weird but he does. He knows it’s something Grana would do. His personality changed a lot actually adopting more of Grana’s weird sense of random behavior and sense of humor.
He recently moved to Karaku Town his mother wants him to focus more on his studies and less on snowboarding. So he lives with his butler, and his teacher lives not too far off. But he has a lot of free time and space living by himself. But ever since he moved here he noticed even more weird things start to happen. He sees monsters and more spirits, and even people fighting these monsters in black robe like outfits.

"Welcome to the Annual Winter X-games 15! Were doing it big this year again. So enjoy the races the games and out returning champ Jacob Torino!" the announcer from the loud speakers said. The large crowd cheered when the heard the name Jacob Torino. Two large stands of occupied seats were on the sides of the big mountain. In the middle were the seven racers for the games, with one missing and that being Jacob himself.

"Torino!!" A tall women in glasses yelled out storming through the hotel halls. "He better be in his room dressed and ready to go, or so help me god!" She stopped at room 234, and kicked down the door. "Jacob!!" she yelled his name. There was silence. She went into the room and looked at the bed, wth the obvious movement under the covers he was there with two other females. With a quick move the lady threw the cover off and and looked at Jacob. He was shirtless only wearing boxers, two females, pretty of course Jacob would have it no other way. Had panties and bras on. Jacob just sat there with a blank expression. "Shh...if you dont move she can not see you...she's likes a Tyrannosaurus rex. But she can sence your fear..." Jacob said staying perfectly still, not blinking just staring at her. The lady got red in the face with anger. 'Jacob!!! Im gonna kill you!!" She started to strangle him and the two girls hurried and got there clothes and ran out the door. "...Gghghhgnign...wait! Nina-sama! Wait I can explan!..ghghuububfnign." Nina dropped him. "Please dont explain Jacob! just be ready in 5!'

Nina left the room and waited outside. Jacob scratched his head and looked confused. "This is the first time she ever left me off this easily. Is something wrong with her...is she gonna cry. She's gonna miss me while im gone! haha. Oh well!!" He said grinning. He did as he was told and got ready to leave.

About twenty minutes later Jacob finally arrived at the race. Wearing his gear, a beanie and goggles. A light but somewhat heavy jacket and cargo pants his feet attached to his black snowboard. The other racers looked a him and looked pissed. "So the finally the defending champion makes it, such a child. How does someone like you become a defending champion at this."

"By doing your mom. She said I was great, she was riding my slope all night long." Jacob replied with a grin. The other guy just shut-up. All the competitors got ready and placed themselves at the start. Jacob had a nice grin on his face, he could feel the wind behind him. "1,2,3, GO!!!!" The anouncer shouted and the racers took off. The crowd cheered as Jacob took an early lead.
